I’ve been taking newborn photos for several years, and aside from my high-resolution camera which allows for high-quality prints, I can assure you that I will take photos of your child as if s/he were mine. I will give the same careful attention to detail necessary, and employ my “mother’s touch” in taking a photo of your baby.
As a parent myself, I recognize the importance of keeping your baby safe and comfortable during the photography session. My years of working with newborns have given me all the proper skills necessary to keep your child safe and comfortable. I find it fascinating how newborns can pose in such a manner that older babies and children can’t pose. I try to reproduce these poses in my work, but I always stress on comfort and safety. I never force babies into poses just for the sake of producing the desired effect on my photos. I always make sure they’re happy and comfortable during the shoot.
I require my clients to book their newborn photography sessions while they are still pregnant. This way, I can properly prepare for the session, and the shoot can be scheduled within the first 15 days of the child’s life. This is also to give both my clients and myself time to adjust just in case the child is born earlier or later than the expected birth date. This guarantees that my bookings won’t overlap.
My clients can expect me to provide props for my newborn photo shoots to make the sessions more enjoyable, and to give the finished product more character. I would also like to stress that I prioritize producing high quality photos over producing too many frames. I try to keep all my shots useful and well-thought-out to ensure the satisfaction of my clients.
